spend some time…
…in my workshop today π
time for the bandsaw.
and guess what? … time for my files π π
first forming the bolster, and then the rest of the handle.
it’s going to be a blue handle…
…on the next knife π
with a carbon steel damascus blade, forged by Robert Mattsson.
handle in stabilized and dyed moose antler, and stabilized and dyed x-cut spalted beech.
some green wood…!
… and box elder in the shaft of this little knife.
it got a blade in O1 carbone steel, made of Ted Dalqvist, a young comming knifemaker π
back home…
two new knifes…
… well they are not realy new, they have been on my bench for a while π
but now the have got sheaths π
the first one got a damascus blade, forged by Robert Mattsson. handle in stabilized moose antler, whale tooths
and stabilized spruce masur (Christmas tree!) and pewter spacers.
and this one got a etched carbone blade by AndrΓ© Andersson. handle in stabilized muskox antler, birchburl,
stabilized bog oak and pewter spacers.Β bouth sheats are made out of raw hide leather π
and hereΒ΄s that…
…fifth knife with its sheath πΒ a blade in Uddeholm Elmax, handle in dessert iron wood, mamoth tusk and brass spacers. the sheath in raw hide leather.

at last…
…something happends on my blog π
four of the knives has now got sheats π just one more to do, and beltloops ofcourse.
… but first I will…
the activity in my workshop…
…hasn’t been on the top lately ,no knife has been finished for some time π¦
but this is a knife that’s waiting for leather
a 70 mm. long blade in Elmax, grinded by my friend Rickard Perman, handle in stabilized birch
and brass spacers.
I also started up a new project, this will have a little bit longer blade, nearly 120 mm! π
