…to start forming the handle 🙂

it first looks like it was a flannel shirt that was stabilized when I started to file and sanding the handle 😉

…are glued together 🙂

and after a visit in the bandsaw it look like this:

…with the “shirt-knife” 🙂

made a inlay for the bolster of dyed jawbone from a whale!

…and the sheaths are dyed 🙂 and here they are=

…during the last weekend 🙂

I’ve sew my first hat-sheath! and two other leather sheats 🙂

just remains for me to make two beltloops and the dye the sheaths 🙂

…the blade will be fitting in to the bolster quite good 🙂

…to dress up Mattias Styrefors in a shirt 😉

what I mean is that this blade, forged by Mattias, is going to have a stabilized shirt, jawbone from a whale

and black birch burl in the handle, if everything goes as I plan 🙂

…are waiting to get ready for the leathersheaths 🙂

and here they are after a linseedoil bath 🙂  and here they will hang for at least a week 😦

so it’s time fo me to think of a new project 🙂

…to make the finaly polish on this one 🙂

and of course sew a leathersheath 😉
