…for my knifebuilding 😦

just to mutch thing that have to be done outside the house. but today I’ve spend some times in my workshop 🙂

…of the bolster ans cover it with super thin Insta-Cure.

this time I remember to red-hot that pice of copper, and it was so mutch easyer to form it then 🙂

and now it’s time for me to sharp my wittler again 🙂

…making another knife from that pice of masur birch that I got 🙂

a laminated blade in carbon steel, forged by Kent Andersson in Såå, a pice of mamoth tusk and masur birch 🙂

…that you will have all the time in the world to do what you wont when you get retired 😉

I finaly has come so far with the knife so I have give it a hot linseed oil bath 🙂

now it just have to rest for a week ( or two ) 😉

…I’ve find some time to spend in my workshop 😉

and I decided to make a mix-sheath to this knife, I hasn’t done it for several years, so it’s about time  🙂

…I hasn’t build on my knives for some days 😉

and now I can start to fill upp my woodshed with some firewood before the winter 🙂

…something more with the handle 🙂

and it wasn’t so easy for me to do, still needed some more sanding and polishing!

…the last times that I’ve spend in my workshop 🙂

I just had to wet the handle with water, to se how it looks .)

…after spending a long weekend together with my grandchildren 🙂

and this is how far I got today, tomorrow I’ll use my wittler 🙂

…what to do with that hole in the bolster, I filled it up with a pice of masur 🙂

and here is the blade glued in place!

now I’ll take a few days of, going to UK to visit two of my grandchildren, almost as fun as building knives 😉
