I guess it’s just the finaly polish of the rest of the handle left, and a leather sheath of course 😉

…I’ve glued the handleparts together, and also start to form it 🙂

but I decided to change the bog oak to a pice of buffalo horn 🙂

and right now it look like this after I sanded it with 240 grit, and I also start to form the but end 🙂

…on the bolster, a lovely pice of mamoth 🙂

and I think it’s going to fit just perfect 😉

…will have a damascus blade, forged by Mattias Styrefors and grinded by Anders Hedlund.

two of the very best in their proffesion in Sweden 🙂

the handle will have a mamoth bolster, stabilized bog oak and dyed and stabilized aspen masur 🙂

…just have to make a sheath for it 😉

…to try to finish the knife from last year 🙂

so I end up todays work with making a hole in the back of the handle 😉

a crack in the bolster 😦  but I fixed it with super thin glue 🙂

this is how far I come, but now I must lay my files away for a while 😦  it’s soon Christmas you know 🙂
