…that I’ve glued the handleparts together.
It will have a bolster in dyed elkhorn, mamoth, tinspacers and stebilized elmburl in the shaft ๐
this “a little different shaped” blade in damasteel, is grinded by Ingemar Nordell.

…that I’ll find time to finish this one before Christmas, but I’ll give it a try ๐
I started with the bolster in dyed elkhorn ๐
…if this picยดs are better? but anyhow here’s some more picยดs of the “record knife” ๐
this knife got a 81 mm. long blade in Damasteel, grinded by Anders Hedlund ๐
a mamoth bolster, tin spacers and dyed stabolized alder Rooth, total lenght of the knife is 190 mm.
it also got a dyed raw hide leather sheath with a wooden liner ๐
…by making a beltloop and also dyed the sheath atย the same day ๐
but there’s still a button for the beltloop to be madeย ๐
…comming so far with a knife in only two weeks! it’ not like me ๐
but of course, I’m going to dyeย the sheath andย make a beltloop for it, so it’s not a “record” yet ๐
…is made out of birch, I realy like to use my wittler to form it ๐
on the next pic I’ve start to make it easyer for the blade to get into the sheath ๐
finaly I dye the top of the liner and seal it with super thin glue ๐
…made some fileing on the spacers
I’m also ready to glue the two halfs of the woodenliner together ๐
…for me, comming so far with a knife in onlyย TWO Days! ย ๐
a blade in Damasteel grinded by Anders Hedlund and a bolster in mamoth and the wood is stabilized alderroot.
but I’m back home now, so I better slow down ๐
