I just love to work with my “carver” to form the wooden liner for my “strippeled” one.

…on the maple burl looked a little bit boring, so I “stripeled” it to give it (hopefully) more life.

I also put some brass on the back of the handle 🙂

…of rain today, immediately I stop cutting the grass and went into my workshop 🙂

…getting better from that cold 🙂 has start to form the guard on the handle.

…had started, but as my dear wife is now free from her job and begun her summer holiday, progess on this new project has all but ground to a halt!

However she has found time in OUR  holiday schedule to allow me to upload this picture 🙂
