…the wooden sheath.

it*s time for a bath in the hot lenseed oil

and now i’ll put it aside for a week or two before the leatherwork

…so good, now it’s time for gluing the woodenparts of the sheath.

the pieces…

…for the handle are now ready to be glued together.

I have decided not to use any tin or vulkanfiber spacers on this one, just the wood spacers.

and after a visit in the bandsaw, the handle now looks like this

…what I’m going to use for my next raven-knife. a small blade in AEB-L, only 6.8 cm. long, spalted birch for the handle and sheath and stab.  masur-birch for the bolster.

…spalted birch and a blade grinded by Michael Holmström, to me it means that I’m going to make my 5:th raven-knife :).
