I thought…

…that I should try to do something different at the end of the handle on this knife 🙂

but it wasn’t easy, that stabilized birch was realy hard to work in with my tools 😦

and there is still some sanding left to do 😉

I come to a decision…

…that wavy grained pice of birch will “end up” the handle like this :

just wonder how the guard will look on this knife? 😉

whoops!!!

!!!and what did I find if not a crack in that pice of mamoth 😦 but with super thin glue I fixed it 🙂

the question now, how will I put that wavy graind pice of birch into the handle?

this carving will make…

…the blade easely slip into the wooden liner 🙂

I hope 😉

yes, yes, yes…

…I AM working on the wooden liner for the knife with the cross cut oak handle 🙂

but I don’t know why I always find it hard to finish the sheath 😦   when it’s so fun to build the knife 😉

I hasn’t finish…

…the woodenliner for that “edgehog” knife yet, but still I’ve started up building on a new one 🙂

this one will have a 75 mm. long blade in Damasteel, grinded by Robert Mattsson.
