so I cut my fingernails…

…this afternoon, and cowerd my fingers with “electricity” tape and started to sew my sheath 🙂

after a few hours hard work it look like this 🙂

the only thing that worry me now is…..can I get it out! I’ll find out in a few days 😉

a good reason…

…to why you should cover the blade with tape BEFORE you start the fileing 😉

                               on this knife I will have a short and straight form of the sheath, as you can see by the wooden liner. hopefully I will have a “leatherweekend” to be looking forward to later on this week 🙂

there is a hole…

…in the but end 😉

                            the wood in the handle is cross cut, and the tang of the blade ends about 3 cm. from the end. so I will use a steel pin to strengthen the last part of the handle 🙂

                          in this “big hole” I will put a pice of mammoth 🙂

hard work with the rasp ;) …

this handle seams to bee a litle bit chameleonic,   it has become more green than blue after the fileing.
