…from a great dinner with my son and his family, and I thought that I would show you

that I have done more than just eating today 🙂

 so before I go to bed, I know what to do, glue the blade in to the handle 😉

…for the one-pice handle knife, and I definitely think that’s enough work for a day like this 🙂

…while I was having a shave this morning 😉 I was thinking of  what

would be my next project. and I come up with this:

it’s going to be a one pice handle knife with a laminated carbon blade,

forged by Nils Grantangen from Norway, and the wood will be in alder root 🙂

…apologies for my lack of blogging in recent days, unfortunately as the festiv period

fast approaches my time is stretched, and this hits my passion (knives) hardest 😦

Oh and just to comfirm/stop any gossip no I’m not Santa Clause which would obviously

and here is some facts about the knife:

handle in dyed and stabilized pine wood, bolster in dyed and stabilized masur birch and tin spacers.

blade in AEBL-steel 9 cm. long and grinded by Maihkel Eklund.

dyed sheath in shaft leather.

…that I’m useing again, but I like it 🙂

more pictures will come next week, when the belt loop is on its place and everyting is polished 🙂

…for me, is to continue the work with the boon folder 🙂

nearly forgott to mention that I have to make a belt strop and dye the sheath to,

but tomorrow is wednesday and you know, grandchildren 🙂

…from my bad cold,  and if you are a man you realy know how it is having a cold  😉

…what I beeing up to last weekend. I made my first time ever one pice handle knife 🙂

and it was so fun to shape the form of the handle with just my whittler, except for the guard 😉 so I nearly forgott to take up my camera.

this was a new experience for me, and I’m sure I will do more of this knives in the future 🙂
