…while I was having a shave this morning 😉 I was thinking of what
would be my next project. and I come up with this:
it’s going to be a one pice handle knife with a laminated carbon blade,
forged by Nils Grantangen from Norway, and the wood will be in alder root 🙂
…apologies for my lack of blogging in recent days, unfortunately as the festiv period
fast approaches my time is stretched, and this hits my passion (knives) hardest 😦

handle in dyed and stabilized pine wood, bolster in dyed and stabilized masur birch and tin spacers.
blade in AEBL-steel 9 cm. long and grinded by Maihkel Eklund.
dyed sheath in shaft leather.

…what I beeing up to last weekend. I made my first time ever one pice handle knife 🙂
and it was so fun to shape the form of the handle with just my whittler, except for the guard 😉 so I nearly forgott to take up my camera.
this was a new experience for me, and I’m sure I will do more of this knives in the future 🙂
